Bathroom for 20 Please.

So last night there was a fundraiser at Breezys, a nice benefit show. Well by the time I got there, around 8pm, they decided to pull the plug because we hated the cover band playing and were sitting outside. They got the show back on, but then it was cancelled again. Turns out the guy running it was a sham, too. He couldn’t quite decide who he was donating to. Boys and Girls Club, Boy Scouts, Shalom Center, AIDS? Who knows.

Roosh saved the day though. He said the show could go on in his basement - and it sure did. There was a caravan of about 9 cars traveling to White Caps. It was awesome. After Pistofficer played, Ill Advised was up. A bunch of people were missing, turns out they were trying to see how many people they could fit in his bathroom. I joined, and we got a few more people. We hit either 20 or 21.

12:30 rolled around, and we headed out. A bunch of us went over to our friend Lena’s for pizza, then went to our homes to sleep.

I woke up around 6:50 so I could get ready for my aptitude test at the Union Hall. That went well, and now I’ve just been cleaning.

I feel like vomitting.

Ever since Friday I’ve felt like crap. There’s too many things going on that are bothering me. I can’t even fully talk about it because I don’t truly understand how to handle things. I just want to hit pause and say fuck it all. God. Good thing I know time heals all ailments.

The mail is here

Well I just grabbed my mail, and inside of it was a nice present. I received a letter from my Dad’s local. Inside was a letter and a small packet. I am moving forward to the next process of becoming an apprentice. June 30th I take an aptitude test.

I’m pumped

So, the FCC could be useful after all.

Instead of censoring us and hundreds of things that aren’t that horrible, why not finally silence those blaring TV ads?

Hey, old friend.

So it’s been a long time since I’ve posted here. In fact the last time I did was when I was able to get my old laptop running on linux. And I haven’t even touched that computer since.

Things have been kind of hectic, paying bills, running around. And it’s also been sort of amazing.

For the longest time there was two main groups in the youth of the punk scene: northsiders and southsiders. We never really hung out in a group much, was just the normal show shit, once in a while run in, etc etc.

Well now it’s changed, and everyone’s been hanging out all the time. Our little group that used to be roughly 20 regulars has doubled. Almost all of the drama has died, and finally things are united.

It’s pretty badass. None of us really know why we didn’t all chill before. It probably helped that our friend Tori needed a place to stay. I hadn’t talked to her since Junior year. Turns out her parents moved to Tennessee and she had been bumming around. Well she was homeless, so she’s shacking up here for a few weeks. She’s thrown me some cash, bought me food, cleaned. Nice ot have the company and a little extra help.
