Too Hot

It’s way too hot. I’d really like to do laundry, but the humidity from it just makes that basement the ultimate sauna.

My wrist is doing better, not hurting so much, it did a bit yesterday. I have to wait util Wednesday still to know if its healing right.
Nina was supposed to come up, or me down there. But seeing as we’re both broke, and she hasn’t called back, I doubt she’s coming.

So Bright

The sun is out in full force, but it is pouring rain right now.

Just got back from Subway, told my boss that I needed a few more days off, didn’t seem upset. It was hilarious, he offered 5$ to whoever gets my shifts covered and they all ran for the phone.

August 13th at 2:30 I meet with my counselor for Gateway, and then on August 1st I get my post-op check. Hopefully I heal well enough so I can work.

4:30

So I just randomly woke up.

Yesterday I had my cyst removed from my right hand, so this typing is all done with just my left hand.
The surgery was intersting…From Wednesday at 12am until roughly 3:30pm Wednesday I couldn’t eat, drink, or smoke. I tred to go to bed Tuesday before midnight, but ended up staying awake until 4am. I oke up at 8:30 an just sat there.

At 10am my mom picked me up and we went to the hospital. I was slightly irritated from lack of nicotine. The automatic doors in that area of Auroa (however you spell it) made a horrible noise that just annoyed the hell out of me.
We checked in, I had to change into the gown thing, got my IV. I kept falling in and out of sleep, I was dead tired. There was an interesting show on weapons throughout history and how caftsmen made them.

Eventually surgery came. I warned them not to give me Verset, spelling might be wrong, because I get a bit ticked when I’m on it.
Sure enough they dd, they also happened to give me another dose of a med that makes me a bit hard to handl; Ladacain, again…no idea on spelling.

I know I wanted a cigarette… but I guess I wasn’t being the nicest in saying so. I woke up once, fely groggy and complained about some pain, next thing I know the nurse jacks me some morphine and I’m out.
Pft too lazy to type more, that is pretty much all of it though

Is It Meaningless?

I’ve got this feeling running through my brain, my body. Actually, it isn’t much of a feeling, it’s just nothing. I need to do something, I need to get out. I’m smoking more, been very sparatic with my emotions.I need a rush, I want to just get up and go on a trip. Throw everything to the wind and say “fuck it, who cares”. I’m sick of caring.

I just can’t wait until the 27th and 28th when Justin and Aaron come down from Rhinelander on their tour. Should spice things up.

openmoko

Screw the iPhone, I want this. Who want’s a phone that’s full of DRM-ware and unhackable?

openmoko is a new phone very similiar to the iPhone, except it’s completely open source. It’s about $300, which is cheaper than an iPhone, and you can use any service. iPhone’s require ATT which is pretty much tied to the NSA. Don’t sucker into a broken phone, or a shitty service that bends its back for the government.

Support open source. Right now the actual phone isn’t on sale, it’s developer style right now. They work, they’re just mainly aiming at open source developers so applications can come out before they put these phones on retail sale.

Brain Scambling Device

I’ve been so busy as of late, haven’t had time to really post here. Lots have been going on since my last post.

Last week, on the 2nd, I saw Social Distortion at Summerfest. Franky, Ver Bruggen, Totts, Pierce, Cory, Boozer, Kami, Jonsey and I were all there. We met up with some other people we knew. Saw some crappy bands, like the Heart Attacks. Don’t listen to them. Don’t buy their music. They’re cocky assholes who call themself punks.

Social Distortion was awesome, though. Met a couple from Grand Rapids when they were playing. It was funny, just chit chatting and then after about ten minutes of just sitting (before they played), the lady goes, “How much is a carton where you’re from?” I guess cartons are like 50/60$ there. So I’m pretty sure on their drive home they picked a few up.

I missed Punks on the Pier because of work, that was last Saturday. I also missed the pig roast that was Sunday, or saturday? I don’t remember.

I’ve been working four to close a lot, my sleep schedule is whacked out now. I get off work around 10, 11, or 12 (depends on day). And stay up until about 5/6am. Nick works the same hours, so we usually just hang out until then. Go to bed, wake up at 1pm, do stuff before work, and repeat.

Tuesday is Liberty’s birthday, so we’re having a little party/cookout deal. I work until close, hopefully going to try and switch for 8. Wednesday we’re going camping until Friday, which I get to wake up, help pack up, get home, unload, and work until close.

The summer is starting to finally pick up. People are starting to stop being bums and hanging out in groups.
